One place you must try to get to, whether it be by plane, boat or train is the Great Barrier Reef
It stretches for over a thousand miles along the coast of Australia The Great Barrier Reef is a World Heritage Park. It can be accessed from countless locations along the eastern coast. Coral reefs are some of the largest living entities in the world. Living hard coral polyps form calcareous formations that give the reef structure. Reef formations grow forever unless disturbed by man, overfishing and climate change. Their final survivability is unknown in the long term, but in the short term, they are endangered!
